Revival for the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017. The Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, will share his message of love and renewal. Christ Church will be chartering a bus for 50 people which will leave Christ Church at 12:15 p.m. If you would like to attend the Revival and be on the Charter Bus, please contact the Church Office.

Girls On The Run South Georgia will will be hosting its annual Lip Sync Battle at The Salty Snapper, Tuesday, August 29th at 6.30 PM. Local community members will battle to see who is the Lip Sync Master! Please join us to support a great cause and our very own Midlife Crisis Dance Troupe! DR News: Leidy Wins Scholarship

Full Teacher Education Scholarship
|
The young woman in El Pedregal for whom our 2017 mission team built a house, our friend and translator Leidy Rosario, has written to tell us that she has been awarded a full college scholarship from the government of the Dominican Republic to study education and then serve as a teacher in a Dominican school. Only 80 scholarships like this are awarded annually, and we are so proud of Leidy for winning one of them.
