Augusta County is offering its first-ever tourism grant program! Eligible marketing initiatives, programs or events need to occur between January 1, 2017 and May 31, 2017 and should focus on the following:
- New initiatives and creativity
- Viability of increasing tourism (defined as visitors traveling more than 50 miles)
- Strength of marketing and promotional plan
- Partnerships with and promotion of other Augusta County businesses
Two to four grant awards are anticipated from the $10,000 total grant budget. The maximum award for any one program will be $5,000, but lesser amounts can be given depending on the applications.
