Join the movement & give back

Compassion breeds generosity within us because it helps us understand the plight of those under adversity. When we strive to interact compassionately with others, we begin to see conclusively that no one deserves to suffer or to go without.

Whether you have been to one of our shows or seen our arts educational programs in action, you know the impact that Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble has in our community.

In 2001, I had an idea to create a company that did not exist in Chicago that would serve two purposes: performance and arts educational programs.  A company that through performances combines dance, theatre and visual art to tell stories that would address social issues in a space that allows for community conversation and cultural change.  An Arts Educational program that would bring to low income and disadvantaged children and youth dance, theatre and visual arts classes that not only teaches the arts but social emotion skills and boosts literacy through arts integration.

Consider making a donation today and you will see the direct impact of your donation.  81% of our budget goes to paying our programming.
