Letter from the President
Happy holidays!  It's been another great year for the TTT, racing locally, regionally, and even internationally for a few of us!  Congratulations to everyone who raced this year, and especially those of you who did your first tri, did a new distance, or hit a new PR this year.

The World Famous TTT Christmas Party is coming up quick, this Monday, December 5 from 6:30 to 10 at Gibb's Hundred in downtown Greensboro.  We're looking forward to seeing you there if you can make it!  If not, know that you're there in spirit and we'll have a toast to you as well.

Keep your eyes out for several things coming up.  First is a workout at CrossFit Oak Ridge on December 10 at 11am.  It will be TTT only, and a tri-focused workout has been put together for us by TTT members Jonathan and Rose Hoyle.  So don't feel intimidated, and come out and join us!  Also there will be regular HIIT indoor trainer sessions and track workouts getting posted on Facebook, so watch for those.  We have a couple of indoor mini-tri/brick workouts planned for January and February as well.  And we're wrapping up details for a swim clinic in late January complete with short individual coached video stroke analysis for members as well!  Keep your eyes out for these in the coming months, and join us to keep your workout schedule busy through the off season!

This month's sponsor spotlight is TEAMINDURE

Looking for a way to stay focused and raise awareness for those individuals running their own races with long term health issues in 2017?
For those new to teamindure, we provide a way to honor those individuals that define strength. They are the true heroes.  They enter a race they did not ask to or were given the ability to train for.
If this sounds like something you may be interested in, we are offering 2 membership packages as well as merchandise and other items to help you raise awareness.  New for this year, both membership packages will include the ability to receive Race Tats/Bike Stickers/Awareness Ribbons for all your events.   Also there will be an opportunity to purchase Race Tats/Bike Stickers/Awareness Ribbons online or in person.   Use the Promo code "TTT" until December 17th to get 15% off Membership Fee and any other merchandise.  After that using the code TTT will get you 10% off anything you purchase online or in person.
For those interested in membership, please be sure to write in the comment section what color and size shirt you would like to receive when signing up.
Remember joining our Teamindure Team on Charity miles is free.  Just download the app on your phone and join Teamindure. Its a great way to raise money while you train.
This year we have 15 members that have run or cycled for 5740 miles for charity, using the Charity Miles App. Doug Burroughs takes home the prize for most miles at 1689.  We are working on adding some great prizes throughout the year and for the individual that logs the most miles during 2017.  We are excited to announce that in 2017 we are working on details on 2 events to benefit Make A Wish Foundation and for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
If you are looking to plan an event for Charity
we would like to be able to help in anyway we can.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions at pete@teamindure.com or visit us at www.teamindure.com.
 Thank you for your support!

This month's AOM is Tameika Howell ! One thing you can say about Tameika is she is always smiling! One of the happiest triathletes in the group. Tameika stays positive, keeps moving forward and pushes herself every training and race. She is quite accomplished, being a family physician, wife, mother and triathlete, can you say "superwoman"?! She has been participating in triathlons for 10 years and just accomplished a 70.3 in Augusta. Way to go Tameika!
