The Shura Council's
Prison Outreach Program (POP) continues to serve the Muslim inmates in Jails and Prisons in California and beyond.
With your
generous assistance,
POP has distributed over 3,000 Qur'ans, 5,000 books, 4,000 prayer rugs and kufis as well as provided over 1,000 hours of service offering Islamic classes, Jummah salat and mentoring. POP has expanded, alhamdulillah, and we are looking into partnering with other organizations to begin working on re-entry programs for inmates after their release.
