Recipe from the Chef

The Spicy Olive's Oven Roasted Granola
 
Ingredients:

6  cups  Oats  old fashioned (rolled)

1/2  cup  Honey

tsp  Vanilla

cup A lmonds  slivered, pecans, walnuts, cashews or a combination

1/2  cup R aisins,  dried cherries, apricots or dried cranberries

cup  Coconut  unsweetened flake


Preparation:

Jelly-roll pan, at least 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches

Preheat the oven to 325 F.

Place oats in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center and pour in the honey, olive oil, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly with a fork. The mixture will be sticky. Add the nuts and combine well. Transfer the mixture to the jelly roll pan and use a fork to spread evenly.


 

Bake for 15 minutes.

Stir mixture with a fork to separate. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes longer, add dried fruit place in oven 1 more time for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on it as the granola can burn quickly.


 

Transfer the granola to a cool cookie sheet or a clean cutting board and cool. If you allow it to cool on the pan, it will harden and be difficult to remove.


 

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.

Every event hosted onsite assists at least one local cause. All proceeds from each Austin Landing event are donated to charities around the Dayton area.

Austin Landing donated a combined total of
$363,853 to local charities through our event programming in the park.

CycleBar
CycleBar ® is the only franchised indoor cycling studio in the US with over 100 studios open worldwide since October of 2014.  It is a high intensity, low impact, cardio workout geared toward riders 13 and older of all experience levels.  All rides are choreographed to heart pumping music with large video screens that provide a fun, concert-like experience. Our CycleTheatre ® has 48 bikes arranged in a stadium type multi-tiered seating structure.  
 
With the rapid growth of Boutique fitness, owners Steve and Jane Zubrzycki  - of Springboro - are excited to be a part of this premium brand! After spending nearly 30 years at Lexis-Nexis, most recently as Vice President, Strategy & Business Development, Steve decided to leave the corporate world and venture off in a new direction in fitness.  Jane, a former teacher, spends most of her free time volunteering in different ways throughout the community. They have 3 daughters and a 10 month old grand-daughter.

It's the holiday season at Austin Landing! Join us for our annual Kettering Physician Network Christmas Tree Lighting and Winter Market! 

Winter Market - 11am - 5pm
We will feature several unique holiday vendors from around the Dayton area. From hand crafted items, apparel boutiques, to home baked fresh goodies, there is something for everyone on your shopping list at the Winter Market!

Join us at 6:00pm where the fun will begin for our Kettering Physician Network Christmas Tree Lighting and holiday activities! Enjoy a special dance performance from Jeanie Moreland Dancers! Stop by to get your face painted, hop in the photo booth, say hello to Ranger Vic, and warm up with some hot cocoa from the Hilton Garden Inn! Enjoy the KPN holiday photo booth and cookies at the KPN tents - where you will also find health info and games, and free blood pressure checks, even meet local KPN physicians and care managers.There's something for the whole family to enjoy during our tree lighting event. Santa will arrive at 6:00 pm with all of his friends, and witness the spectacular Kettering Physician Network Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

PARKING GARAGE ENTRANCE
The Penny Lane parking garage entrance is now open and will be accessible for ENTRANCE only. The entrance/exit behind the movie theatre and bars will continue to be open and will be a permanent entrance/exit to the parking garage. There is NO EXIT from the parking garage onto Penny Lane.  
EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT
Jennifer Shields
Jennifer has worked at Austin Landing since the first shovel went in the ground.  She has had many roles including, Lease Administration, Facility Manager, Leasing Manager and most recently Operations Manager.  Jennifer enjoys being out and speaking with the Tenants, making sure they are happy at Austin Landing and providing services to make sure their space is the best it can be for their customers. 

In her spare time she is involved with her sons wrestling team at Beavercreek High School, supporting her daughter in the Marine Corps and spending time with friends and family.
EMPLOYEE PARKING
We encourage all retail and restaurant employees to use the parking garage to maximize the opportunity to service your customers with better parking to your business. Office employees should park in their designated parking lots. Store and Office Managers...Please do your part to enforce this rule with your employees to assist with the success of the Austin Landing community.
