Celebration of Nonprofits  & Monthly Luncheon Recap

Thank you to all 155 who attended last Thursday's Celebration of Nonprofits at Hamline University. The day began with a panel, moderated by Hamline's Jeannie Fox and featuring Isabel Chanslor, Neighborhood Development Center; James Hamilton,
Fox Advancement; and Julia Jenson, Catholic Charities. The panel focused on ways in which for-profits and non profits can work together.
Fifty attended the morning panel

The Nonprofit Expo featured 40 nonprofits, and great opportunities for networking.

Finally, our lunch program was joined by Congresswoman Betty McCollum and our keynote speaker, Dr. Eric Jolly, Minnesota Philanthropy Partners. Congratulations to our Hiway Federal Credit Union Nonprofit of the Month, Keystone Community Services.

Attendees were asked to place donations into an envelope, to be given to one nonprofit at the end of the event. The winner was Episcopal Homes, who will receive a check for $900. Thank you to all who made a donation!
