Nominations now open and run until midnight December 4, 2017
All Sask Sport active members (Provincial Sport Organizations) and affiliate members (Districts) can recognize and honour their Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Volunteers for their outstanding achievements, dedication and contributions in Saskatchewan amateur sport during 2017 by nominating them for the 2017 Saskatchewan Sport Awards.
Consider nominating in the Athlete of the Year category, an athlete you previously nominated for Athlete of the Month during 2017.

HERITAGE CONSERVATION WORKSHOPS
Hosted by the Ministry of Parks Culture and Sport

These free workshops will provide training in heritage conservation tools that will be of interest to anyone who owns, uses, manages, interprets or regulates heritage buildings and other historic places. There is no registration fee, but pre-registration is required. Seating is limited and will be booked on a first-come/first-serve basis (please note that lunch is not provided). Details below:

COACHING CLINICS
COMMUNITY SOFTBALL COACHING CLINIC
*Register by
November 10th
Click here for the Community Softball Coaching Clinic registration form. This clinic will be held November 18th and 19th with registration cost of $140. Location is TBA. This clinic is good for all Provincials that do not lead to a Westerns or Canadian Championship
SOFTBALL COMPETITION INTRODUCTION COACHING CLINIC
Softball Saskatchewan will only be taking pre-registration up until
November 17, 2017
. A lack of registrations will result in a cancellation of the clinics. Plea
se email, fax or mail in your
registration form
and payment to Softball Saskatchewan. You need to take both clinics in order to proceed to the on-field evaluation to become certified. This coaching clinic is good for Provincials that leads to a Western or Canadian Championship. These clinics will be held in Saskatoon – Weekend 1 – December 2 & 3, 2017 and Weekend 2 – January 20 & 21, 2018.

Psychology of Performance, Coaching & Leading Effectively, Leading Drug Free Sport, Managing Conflict, Prevention & Recovery, Developing Athletics Abilities, Performance Planning, Manage a Sport Program and Advanced Practice Planning
