Our winning caregiving volunteer

One of the many ways our Edel Caregiver Institute helps unpaid family caregivers is by providing volunteer support. The grateful daughter of a gentleman living with a debilitating movement disorder recently wrote such a glowing nomination that Laney Pollock, pictured above, received the Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving Volunteer Caregiver award for the Coastal Care-Net region. Read the daughter's words here.

If you would like to volunteer to help lighten the burden of the child or spouse of a family member with a serious illness, disability or dementia, we would love to have you join us! Please call program coordinator Tonya Hillis at 912.298.0303 to find out more.
