December 2016
It's the end of the year!

We've made it to the end of the calendar year. The APAC Program Associates have been busy this year crossing the state to provide training to clients. In the last newsletter of the year, we wanted to highlight this month's 2016 Industry Days event. Whether training or supporting clients, the staff at the APAC program appreciate the opportunity to serve the people of Arkansas as part of the Community and Economic Development team.
2016 Arkansas Regional Industry Days

On December 6 and 7 APAC hosted the U.S. Corps of Engineers 2016 Arkansas Regional Industry Days. More than 130 attendees from small and large businesses learned about up to 4 billion dollars worth of government contracting opportunities from government agencies such as the Veterans Administration, U.S. Forest Service and many others. They were also able to briefly meet with many agencies one-on-one during the event
at the University of Arkansas System Cooperative Extension Service headquarters. We hope that attendees took advantage of this opportunity to connect with other businesses, learn, and possibly find ways to grow their business.  If you missed it this year, we hope to see you at the 2017 Industry Days events.
