A Message from the Superintendent
Dear Parents,
We need your input! Beginning this week of October 30, we are conducting a comprehensive survey of the entire parish and school.
This campaign planning study follows the exciting announcement that the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist will join our faith community in August 2018. We have worked closely with various parish and school leaders on a plan to restore the original convent as the sisters' residence and have identified additional physical improvement projects to our campus, school and church. The primary objective in our upcoming campaign is to raise the necessary funds to renovate the convent.
Before we make any final decisions regarding the other goals that may be addressed in the campaign, we would like to hear from you.
You will all be asked to share your thoughts regarding the overall plans and the upcoming campaign. Your feedback will enable us to determine potential support for each project. The planning study will also help identify prospective campaign leaders and major donors, as well as establish a realistic campaign goal.
I believe that this process is extremely important, and I encourage each school family to participate.
Fr. Mark Moriarty
Pastor /Superintendent

K-6 Virtue Assembly
Last Friday, students in Ms. Coleman's third grade class held the first monthly Virtue Assembly for K-6 students in the Helene Houle Auditorium. Drawing from the Virtues In Practice curriculum, the students lead prayers and activities to celebrate the virtue of studiousness, as well as Saint Thomas Aquinas. In November, students will study the virtue of Humility and Saints John the Baptist, Pio of Pietrelcina, and Therese of Lisieux. Calling on the intercession of these saints, students hope to grow in virtues both in school and at home. Please pray for these students as they encounter Faith, Reason, and Virtue in their studies at Saint Agnes School!

Volleyball and Football Seasons End
Congratulations to the volleyball team on a successful season. The Aggies were eliminated in the second round of playoffs by Hill Murray. The team had signature conference wins defeating Visitation and DeLaSalle.
The Aggie football team played undefeated and defending State Champions Minneapolis North in the section 4AA semifinals this past Saturday losing 16-6. It proved to be the closest and lowest scoring game of the year for North who averages 52 point per game. Great job by the players and the coaching staff.
