YWCA Bucks County honored at Welcoming the Stranger Dinner 2017

On October 21, 2017 YWCA Bucks County was honored at the 17th annual Welcoming the Stranger Dinner. This dinner and ceremony brought together community members for a special evening of food and fellowship. 

YWCA Bucks County was honored  for being a longtime, dedicated partner of Welcoming the Stranger's mission to provide free educational opportunities to immigrants and refugees and provides important services for those in the community. 

At the YWCA we're proud to have been partnered with Welcoming the Stranger for so long and we hope to continue this partnership for many more years to come.

Giving Tuesday 11.28.2017 

#GivingTuesday  - a national day of giving to kick  off the giving seas on   

On November 28, 2017 the YWCA Bucks County will join charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.  

We invite you, your family, your friends, or your company to come together and give 

Our goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $5,000 to enable middle school girls the opportunity to explore their interest in STEM careers and robotics through participate in our Tech Gyrls program.

Safe Trick or Treat 2017

This past Saturday, It was a SPOOKtacular time had by all who attended the 7th annual SAFE Trick or Treat event. 

This event, hosted by SUEZ included games, prizes, hayrides with pumpkin picking, and lastly loads of candy for that pre-halloween sugar rush.  

A special thanks goes out to our friends at SUEZ for hosting another awesome event and to all of our partners and volunteers who came out to help!
