FOFAH will be hosting its  annual Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction on the evening of Saturday, September 2 . Hilltop Farm provides a sensational location to provide a fabulous event. 

This year, FOFAH is excited to work with the staff of Chez Josef to create an incredible meal featuring fresh ingredients provided by our local " Partner Farmers and Producers " for the Harvest Dinner.  

 
The Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction has become a major annual social event of the entire community. Guests enjoy a gathering that is fun and like no other in the area. This event is also FOFAH's major fundraiser to continue the restoration of this Historic site.

FOFAH is pleased to announce that  Broad Brook Brewery has been invited to make its first Suffield debut by providing a beer tasting, 4:30 to 5:30 PM, prior to dinner. 

Guests will be able to dance to the music of The Out of the Boxx Band, a great Connecticut band. Their style is described as "really good dance music".
Additionally, the evening includes a Silent Auction with goods and services from local artists and artisans. There is always something for everyone. 

Seating is limited for this popular event, so get your tickets without delay! Event is BYOB and prior reservations are required.

Gates open at 4:30 PM. Come and walk the grounds and see the antique farm equipment and vistas.

It's Time for Farm Fest 2017

Come join us for a fun day at Hilltop Farm on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2017. This is the free, family-friendly event held from 10am-3 pm at Hilltop Farm. 


Each year more than 1200 people visit the farm. Each year FOFAH has celebrated the region's vibrant agricultural history with exhibits and demonstrations.

Fluffy Bun Bun
N ew this year, enjoy the  enjoy the Triple F Farm will create a "petting farm", featuring goats, chickens, a pig, and Fluffy Bun Bun! As a 4-H family, the Fenoff's are experienced in showing their small animals.

Enjoy watching  Jeff Bellefleur  demonstrate the art of 
chainsaw carving. There will also be a roping demonstration!

Regular highlights include  Julie Anne Collier's 'Wingmasters',the raptors and birds of prey.  Adam Harris of  "Harris in Wonderland" will show reptiles and amphibians from around the world come. Of course, the  Tractor Parade is at noon. All tractors welcome


Along with pony rides from  AJ StablesMark O'Hara will give  cider making demonstration.  Cindy Stoecker's Barefoot Books, will provide good family books and children's games.  Pleasant Gardens will demonstrate lavender and herbs wreath making.  EnFuse Fitness, of Enfield will organize the  contests, including the famous skillet, hay bale tosses, and the great tug of war event.

The Cow Chip Bingo  winner will be determined during the afternoon with the gastronomical actions of a 
Hasting Farm  dairy cow. Good luck to all those who purchased chances!

For refreshments, there will be great food trucks including JLM Catering, Yardbirds & Co, Patriot Kettle Corn and Nana's Ice Cream

This is an event for the whole family. The admission for Farm Fest 2017 is free, but a $5 donation per car is requested.

We look forward to sharing Hilltop Farm with the community at Farm Fest 2017. Come and make a new fun memory.
