I'm delighted to report that we are in the final stages of completing the 2017 Maine Jewish Film Festival schedule and I could not be more excited about this year's films.
First, let me acknowledge the work of our dedicated screening committee, led by Melinda Molin. After viewing over one hundred and fifty films, we have developed a wonderful schedule that includes riveting documentaries, engaging dramas and comedies that will make you feel a little better about the world. We think you'll be excited, amused, moved, and informed by these films from around the globe. In January we'll be sending you a sneak preview of some of these films- be sure to add us to your email contact list so you don't miss it.
As we near the end of 2016 I want to thank everyone who has supported us over the past year. The generosity of our community of friends throughout Maine is both heartening and encouraging in these interesting times. If you have already contributed this year, thank you. If you have not yet donated, please consider responding to our year end appeal.
On behalf of all of us at the Maine Jewish Film Festival, I wish you the happiest of holidays!
With warm regards,
Barbara Merson
