More than 80 people attended our 4th Annual Meeting to discuss defining health advocacy and who health advocates are. Our work will be shared with national leaders in health and patient advocacy as they work toward common definitions. Annual Meeting panelists provided insights into how they practice health advocacy in Washington State. Daniel Dawes is a nationally recognized health care lawyer and administrator and is the executive director of government affairs and health policy at Morehouse School of Medicine.
