L ocal Author Darla Noble Talks with Summit Students

In honor of the 75th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Darla Noble, author of  All My Love, George spoke to 5th graders and Upper School students today. Her book is a collection of letters from her Uncle George to his younger brother (Darla's father) during George's service during WWII.  Sadly, George was killed in action on March 23, 1945, on Luzon Island in the Philippines.

If you would like a signed copy of her book, please contact Mrs. Julie Anderson by  Friday, December 16. The cost is $10. Delivery will be on  Monday, December 19.
Book Fair: Last Chance to Shop Thurs.
The end of the Fall Book Fair is upon us! Wednesday afternoon (3:15-4:15 pm) and Thursday morning (8-9 am) are your last chances to shop! All Summit teachers (Beginners through Upper School) created their class wish lists! Be sure to stop by and pick out a book or three today!

You can also support the school buying online between  Dec 1st and 9th  via the link to the right.
Raven Fund: 16-17 Annual Campaign
The Summit, like other independent schools, must raise funds every year to help meet operating costs, since tuition alone never covers the full cost of an independent school education.

This year, we are encouraging families to make a pledge to our Raven Fund. This can be a one time pledge of support or a monthly pledge to support our school.
