1-4:30 pm: "Talk of the Town" will have reenactors at Samuel Adams Park (directly in front of Faneuil Hall) portraying Bostonians of different social classes explaining why they are protesting the new laws.

2:30-4 pm: "Revolutionary Town Meeting: 1767 Townshend Acts" is a lively meeting to debate Boston's response to the hated Townshend Acts. Performances are 30 minutes long at Faneuil Hall (Great Hall, second  floor).

Play-Within-a-Play 'Kiss' at Paramount Through Nov. 19th

Chilean playwright and director Guillermo Calderón's "Kiss" brings masterful sensibility to an intense, tightly wound new production where naiveté can turn out to be the kiss of death. The play is at Emerson College's Paramount Center through Nov. 19th.

When a young, aspiring theatre troupe discovers and performs what they believe is a Syrian soap opera, they come to realize just how much they don't know. Kiss is a brilliant play-within-a-play that shows how misunderstanding cultural cues can reveal blind spots you never knew you had.

BID's Annual Doggone Halloween
Costume Parade a Grrrrreat Success!

Alice in Wonderland, an alligator, a ballerina and a geisha. Those were just a few of the costumed dogs (and some humans) strutting their stuff at the BID's 4th Annual Doggone Halloween Costume Parade on Oct. 27th on Summer Street.
Amy Newfield and her three dogs tied for first in Best Human and Dog Duo Costumes

"For whatever reason I wanted to do 'Alice in Wonderland'," said Amy Newfield, who came with her three dogs dressed as Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum and the White Rabbit. "I'm not sure if they can stand it. I love it. And there are so many treats for them!"
Nala The Pompsky won Cutest Costume as a 'Puppuccino'

Treats were indeed plentiful thanks to the numerous vendors at the parade:  Roche Bros. Farmer's Market , Macy's , Urban Hounds , Fish & Bones , Polka Do g Bakery and CocoChew

Fresh water was supplied by the Boston Water & Sewer Commission water trailer, the City Hall to Go Truck was on hand, and Amanda Kennedy, director of the Boston Animal Care and Control Center, brought several dogs up for adoption.
An amazing homemade costume!

The Chicken & Rice Guys Now Using Antibacterial Lights in Food Trucks

The Chicken & Rice Guys teamed up with Vital Vio to incorporate the VioSafe White Light Disinfection LED technology, becoming the first food trucks in the nation to use the lights to add protection against surface contamination.

"We promised our fans we would use our experiences these last few months to help lead the whole industry above and beyond traditional food safety practices. We sought out the  latest innovations in food safety technology , discovering  Vital Vio  along the way. Their VioSafe lights will not replace regular food safety procedures, but add an extra layer of protection against surface contamination," said Chicken & Rice Guys CEO and Co-Founder  Ian So .
