FEVER: A Tribute to Peggy Lee
Starring Jill & Rich Switzer
November 10-18
“If nominations for the first couple of Palm Beach County music were held, vocalist Jill Switzer and multi-instrumentalist Rich Switzer would be near the top of the list of candidates,” according to a recent issue of Florida Weekly .

Fans of the deliciously delightful co-hosts of The Morning Lounge on Legends 100.3 FM , now have a great opportunity to enjoy them live when they present FEVER: A Tribute to Peggy Lee , November 10-18, as part of the highly acclaimed Palm Beach Dramaworks Cabaret Series .

“I love celebrating Peggy Lee’s music and incredible life,” says Jill Switzer. “She has influenced my repertoire perhaps more than any of the songbook singers, so it was a natural direction.”

“Peggy Lee was a trailblazer – a singer/songwriter before the term existed,” agrees Rich Switzer. “And she collaborated with her husband, musician Dave Barbour, so we can relate to that.”

“Certainly, Peggy Lee’s silky, sparse styling generated some amazing hits that have become enduring classics, such as Ma ñ ana, It’s a Good Day, He’s a Tramp, Is That All There Is and, of course, Fever , all of which will be included in our musical tribute,” adds Jill.

The performances in the Perlberg Studio Theatre at Palm Beach Dramaworks are scheduled for:
+ Friday, November 10 at 8 pm
+ Saturday, November 11 at 2 pm & 8 pm
+ Sunday, November 12 at 2 & 8 pm
+ Friday, November 17 at 8 pm
+ Saturday, November 18 at 8 pm

The cost to attend is only $30. Tickets are available by calling the Palm Beach Dramaworks box office at 561-514-4042 or online at www.palmbeachdramaworks.org .

About the Palm Beach Dramaworks Cabaret Series:
Come hear the music play! Palm Beach Dramaworks is presenting its first-ever cabaret series, which takes place in the Perlberg Studio Theatre. The cabaret series is the brainchild of Bruce Linser , The Dramaworkshop manager. "We're looking to engage audiences in new and exciting ways," says William Hayes , PBD producing artistic director, "and Bruce realized that, despite the popularity of cabaret, very few local theatres offer these kinds of programs. So we decided to engage two remarkably talented performers, and see what happens. Our hope is that these shows prove to be so popular that we'll be offering programs on a regular basis, perhaps once a month." The series is sponsored by Kretzer Piano .
