The beloved KPRC2 weather dog was adopted from HHS. Sadly, Radar passed away in September. During his lifetime, he helped countless shelter pets find forever homes, advocated for homeless animals, and helped educate folks on responsible pet ownership.

Santa Paws is Coming to HHS!
Join us tomorrow for our first Santa Paws event!
Free photos for pets and kids, a Pawliday Shopping Market and a yummy Bake Sale! Photos are free, we encourage you to bring a donation of a kong toy or pet food to help a shelter pet.
Join The Houston Humane Society and Jamie Rose - Houston's Premiere Matchmaking service - for the first event of it's kind!
Daters will pick out a cat or dog they want to "get to know" and then proceed to speed date with fellow daters at the Houston Humane Society.
Food and drinks will be provided. HHS staff will be on hand to make sure everyone (both human and animal) are comfortable and enjoying a great time. Daters have the opportunity to learn about adoption or volunteering at the shelter as well.
Participation is $20 before the event; $25 the week of the event and includes food, drink, and dating. To sign up, you MUST email [email protected] with your age and a photo. There will be two rounds of speed dating according to age brackets. You will receive a link to buy your ticket once you have submitted your age and photo.
