Dear Parents,
We celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception tomorrow, where the Blessed Mother Mary was from the first moment of her conception by the grace of God immune from all original sin. It is because of this that Mary had the grace to say "yes" to the Incarnation. Through this act of will, Mary became the vessel for Jesus. In 1858, Mother Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France. There she identified herself to Bernadette as the Immaculate Conception. As we move closer to Christmas it is important to help the students understand the connection between the Immaculate Conception, Incarnation, and the Nativity of our Lord.
Quote from Pope Francis:
"Jesus gives meaning to my life here on earth and hope for the life to come."
Faithfully Yours,
Miss Giaquinto
