As of Wednesday July 13th, Canada Post and CUPW continue to negotiate.  Either side is required to give 72 hours notice for a Strike or Lock Out. Both sides are working to come to an agreement.

We will continue to ship through Canada Post.  We do encourage you to choose Express Post shipping if you need an order quickly and to avoid possible disruption.  We can also ship by courier and are happy to provide quotes for these options.

Scottish Humour

Seven-year-old Morag came home from school and said to her grandmother, "Grandma, guess what? We learned how to make babies today." The grandmother, more than a little surprised, tried to keep calm. "That's interesting," she said, "how do you make babies?" "It's simple," replied Morag. "You just change 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'."

Scottish Trivia

Scottish place names in former British colonies are found roughly in the ratio of 1 Scottish name to every 4 of English origin. Major cities with Scottish names include Houston, Dallas and Knoxville in the USA, Calgary and Hamilton in Canada, and Brisbane and Perth in Australia. There are over 40 locations around the world named Albany, derived from Alba (Gaelic for Scotland), 34 named Aberdeen and 22 called Dundee.

Product Reviews

"Tried these reeds in my older Naill chanter and they sound great! Very good projection and tone."

"I paid extra to have them personally selected. The money was well worth it. They work great in my 1990 Naill pipe chanter. I had trouble getting reeds to work in the lower pitch chanter and these work. I'll be buying more."
