Michael Dubuc's performance earns first place

Reinhardt University senior Michael Dubuc will represent the school at the Georgia Music Educators Conference in January. He earned the honor after his performance of Hungarian Rhapsody No. 9 took first place at the GMEA State Piano Competition.

Students enjoy holiday fun in time-honored tradition at Reinhardt

Almost 300 students enjoyed the annual Student Holiday Dinner and Desserts, a cherished tradition at Reinhardt University on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Student dressed in their holiday best and enjoyed dinner served at the Gordy. Dessert followed at the President's Home. The evening also included music and a special visit from Santa.
President's Christmas Open House
Sunday, Dec. 4, 3 to 5 p.m.

President Kina S. Mallard and Steve Dietz will open their home Sunday afternoon for a special Christmas Open House.  Reinhardt faculty and staff and their families, as well as community members, are invited to the President's Home Dec. 4, from 3-5 p.m. 

Karen Kitchens Retires
Karen Kitchens, executive assistant to the vice president for student affairs and dean of students, retired from Reinhardt University on Nov. 30 after 16 years. At a surprise retirement reception held on her final day on campus, Kitchens spoke of  how much she loved working with students, and enjoyed relationships with  faculty and staff colleagues. We wish you the best in retirement, Karen, and we look forward to seeing you at events on campus!

SOAR and Santa Cow promote
RU's big game in the NAIA Semifinals

SOAR the Eagle and Santa Cow from Chick-fil-A hung out together Friday morning as radio station 104.7 The Fish hosts Kevin & Taylor broadcast their "Christmas Wish" program from the Chick-fil-A on Riverstone Parkway. Two Canton Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by Reinhardt trustee Kevin Williams.

SOAR and Santa Cow also promoted Saturday's big game against the University of St. Francis with the details displayed on the restaurant's marquee.
Reinhardt Athletics Headlines
Senior Allie Hale scored the only Eagles goal during the quarterfinal round of play in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.
Congratulations to the Lady Eagles on a well-played season

Reinhardt University's Lady Eagles soccer team has had a great year with two wins in national tournament play and only one loss in the regular season. 

The Lady Eagles' season came to an end Wednesday night as they fell 4-1 to Northwest in Orange Beach, Ala. Read more on the coverage of the game
