MS & HS Christmas Chapel
On Wednesday, December 14 at 1:45 pm, all students in grades 5-12 will participate in our annual Christmas Chapel. Families are welcome to attend this special event. The chapel will be held at First Church of Christ (FCC), 10 Church St., Bradford. Pick up for both the HS and MS will be at FCC that day.

PreK Notification Test Call
On Tuesday, December 6 at 4:00 pm, we will conduct a test of our Emergency/School Closing system: PreK Notification. Please refer to the separate PreK Notification email sent earlier today for details on how to update your phone numbers.

HS Varsity Basketball Triple Header!
Tonight at the Plaistow YMCA, three of our HS basketball teams will play home games. Boys' Varsity 2 begins at 4:30 pm, then Girls' Varsity 1 at 5:00 pm (on adjacent court), and finally Boys' Varsity 1 at 6:30 pm. Please come out and cheer on our teams!!! The Plaistow YMCA is located at 175 Plaistow Rd., Plaistow, NH.

Last LS Theater Performance is Tonight!
Tonight, BCA  lower school students will present the final show of  Around the World in Many Plays .  Please join us at 7:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Haverhill, 217 Main Street, Haverhill, MA. Tickets are $10, and available at the door.  See you at the show!

Wreath Sales Soar!
A BIG thank you to all who participated in our Parent Connection Wreath Sale Fundraiser! BCA sold more wreaths than ever before with sales of 166 wreaths with net proceeds of $1,146.20! Congratulations to third graders Kylee and Hayden Roberts who won the $25 gift card. Special thanks to BCA parent Wendy Runge for doing an amazing job in her first year coordinating the sale and Briana (Spohr) Fitzgerald for going out of her way to fulfill a last minute order! 

Rabbi Ira Korinow to Speak at HS Chapel
We are honored to have  Rabbi Ira Korinow  from Temple Emanu-El join our community to speak at our HS chapels on  Friday, December 9 and Friday, December 16 from 8:00 - 8:40 am .  On  December 9 , he will discuss the Hebrew concept of Shalom and how it connects to our mission as a school as we strive to instill in each of our students a sense of responsibility for making the world a better place through seeking healing, justice, flourishing, peace, and beauty. On  December 16,  he will speak on the Hebrew origins of Hanukkah, how it came to be, and its significance within the Judeo-Christian roots.  ***Please note: the dates were listed incorrectly in the email sent to HS parents yesterday. These are the corrected dates.***

Christmas Concert Details
We will be hosting  two separate Christmas Concerts on Friday, December 9. All lower school performers will showcase their talents from  6:30 - 7:30 pm , and high school performers will dazzle their audience from  8:00 - 9:00 pm.  B oth concerts will be performed at the First Baptist Church of Haverhill, 217 Main Street, Haverhill, MA.

Performing Arts Presents...Poinsettias!
Our BCA Arts Booster Club, "PEEPA"--People Enjoying Extraordinary Performing Arts--is hosting a Christmas flower sale.  Please fill out the  online order form, and your poinsettias and Christmas Cacti will be ready for payment at pickup at one of our December events at First Baptist Church of Haverhill - the Lower School theater production, "Around the World in Many Plays" on  December 2nd and the all-school Christmas concert, "Joy to the World" on  December 9th.

LS Canned Food Drive
The Lower School is hosting a canned food drive to support Somebody Cares New England. Classes will compete to see which group can bring in the most cans. Other dry goods such as rice and pasta receive points as well.
