The One Health Commission's Bat Rabies Education Team (BRET) is conducting a survey on current awareness and educational activities about bat rabies. This team is passionate about raising awareness around the need for bat rabies education in the Americas and utilization of free! educational resources. Its first survey is meant to gather information
in the Americas from professionals and health organizations who may be doing bat rabies education or have first-hand knowledge and wisdom that can be used to further these educational efforts.

The survey itself will only take 5 to 10 minutes. Responses will not be released publicly but will only be used for the purposes of improving the Bat Rabies Educational program.
More about BRET and the Educational Posters: The One Health Commission partnered in 2013 with the Global Alliance for Rabies Control and Bat Conservation International to develop an updated set of Bat Rabies Education posters for use in educating children and adults not to touch a bat because bats can be infected with rabies. In 2015
BRET was created by the One Health Commission as a One Health 'Action Team'. This group works to promote bat rabies education and awareness in the Americas, especially for K-12 children and their parents, starting in the U.S. The message is, we need our bats so don't hurt them. But don't touch them either.
