Quadre Pulliam

Quadre Pulliam grew up in Saxe, Virginia and graduated in May 2017 from Randolph-Henry High School.  Almost immediately after high school graduation, he began the Power Line Worker Training Program at Southside Virginia Community College.  Upon his completion of the program in August 2017, Quadre was hired as a groundman/apprentice by Lee Electrical.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, Quadre was among the crews dispatched to Florida, where he spent two weeks helping restore power to residents.

Quadre plans to continue working hard work to achieve his goal of becoming a Class A Lineman.

"Strive for greatness, never stop chasing your dreams," he urges current and potential students.  He adds,  " SVCC helped me become certified in a career that I love, and if it were not for the Power Line Worker program I would not be where I am today."
