"I have had multiple volunteers help me throughout this past year, which has been such a great relief as it has been my first year in the role of Director of Operations. I was lucky enough to have volunteers help with preparing for special events, create our annual report, and help with marketing and public relations. This has helped me to better manage my time and priorities."
Tiffany Tibbot-Talbert, Director of Operations
"I love our Peace Learning Center volunteers and interns! Because of them, we are able to serve even more children and youth in Indianapolis, creating an awesome domino effect. PLC's volunteers and interns help equip more children and youth with peace skills like working together, peaceful conflict resolution, self-esteem, and meditation; just to name a few. Children and youth then take these skills back to their schools and communities helping build more peace. More peace in communities is more peace in Indianapolis! I appreciate the length that peace can reach with the help of our volunteers and interns; and that is why I <3 them. Thank you PLC volunteers and interns for all that you do for our community."

"
Amazing!!! That is the only way I can describe the PLC volunteers I have had the chance to work with this year and the past year at school 58. I want to give a big shout out to all the volunteers that made all sessions, field trips and activities not only possible but also enjoyable for students. Thumbs up! Especially to First Friends' volunteers, Barbara, Amy, Ed and Linda (just to name a few). You guys are awesome! The students at school 58 have been so lucky to have you there. I saw you connect with the students, share yourselves with them and encourage them to learn and grow. I love the fact that despite being in very challenging environments you put the needs of the kids first and you always offered kindness and a helping spirit. You took the time to even create Peace Corners Kits so that more kids could learn ways to manage their emotions and keep their spirits up. You have brightened my days, and I know the students share the same feeling. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all you do for our organization and for our students. We appreciate it more than you will ever know. Seeing you there kept me believing in the worth of working towards a more connected community."
Mame Keita, Youth Development Facilitator
"I have held several roles at Peace Learning Center, and without a doubt nothing holds more meaning to me than my work with our extraordinary volunteers. It is so special to see members of our community take a special interest in supporting our mission. I whole heartedly believe that PLC would not be the organization we are today if it were not for these caring and compassionate individuals. Not many people can say that they wake up every day and are excited to go into work. I consider myself lucky to be one of the few people who happily drives in every morning knowing that I'll be surrounded by some of the city's finest people. The volunteers are a part of our PLC family and I am eternally grateful for their skills, hard works, talents, and love."
