Thanks to everyone for helping pull together a successful picture week! A special shout-out to Ivymount staff member Cheryl Miller for coordinating the project! We're pleased with our new partnership with Lifetouch and look forward to seeing many wonderful photos of our students.
Congratulations to William Turner, one of our MLN High School students! Will represented Montgomery County in the long distance 3000 meters race at The Maryland State Games last weekend and won a gold medal. Well done, Will!
We are grateful to Children's National for hosting an Ivymount special gallery opening earlier today. "Exceptional Art by Exceptional Students" includes 22 framed pieces on display through January 5, 2018. Check out a few photos from the event below with more to be posted this week.
Finally, a few Halloween reminders for Tuesday pertaining to snacks and costumes. Parents, if you are sending in treats, please make sure they are nut free. Also, we ask that our students not bring props or weapons with their costumes. If your program/class has scheduled activities, your child will have an opportunity to change into costumes so they should not arrive in them.
