Fans of local weaver Hetty Friedman will have a chance this week to view and purchase one-of-a-kind collectibles from
her abundant inventory. A rare opportunity to do some
smart holiday shopping in a pleasant relaxed setting.
Her bestselling Mobius shawls, bamboo infinity loops,
chenille mufflers, and rayon blended oblong scarves, will be featured. A curated selection of Guatemalan beaded jewelry,
including limited edition pieces, will also be shown.
*A $30 discount will be given on mobius shawls purchased
during the show.
Hetty Friedman works with a fair trade weavers cooperative
in Solola, Guatemala, designing handwoven wearables with a contemporary fashion spin, under the Crafts for a Cause label. Items are hand dyed and woven locally in Newton, MA, and
in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.
