On Saturday night The Adult Education Committee is hosting a Wine and Dessert Reception  with artist Mordechai Rosenstein, including a slide show and art sale. Rosenstein will be giving a talk entitled "Art Becomes Me."

The evening begins at 6:00 PM. Cost is $18 per person.

Equal Rights at the Kotel: An international email campaign has been launched to press the Israeli Government to implement an approved agreement to provide equal rights of Jewish worship at different locations along the Western Wall. Even though this agreement was overwhelmingly approved by the Israeli government in January, they have essentially caved to ultra-Orthodox pressure. Emunah's Hineni Connecting Team (HCT) is here for you!  If you would like to join us as an HCT volunteer (training and materials available), or know of an Emunah member who needs some caring connecting and who would like to be matched with one of our volunteers, please contact HCT Coordinator  Linda Skolnik   at 978-273-5081.

Limmud Boston 2016 Register now for Limmud Boston's classes, programs and events! LimmudBoston is a happening, a Jewish learning-fest of culture and identity on Sunday, December 4, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. From storytelling, music and meditation to Torah and Talmud, LimmudBoston offers inspiration and education - engaging beginners and scholars alike. 

Illuminating the Beauty of Kabbalat Shabbat: An evening of art, song and learning with artist Debra Band, Introduction by Rabbi Arthur Green at Hebrew College on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 7:30 PM. General Admission is $10, more information and register HERE.

Solomon Schechter Open Houses : Thursday, December 8 at 9:30 AM. Learn how Schechter's rigorous academic program ignites a spark in Judaism and love for Israel, nurtures self-discovery through an innovative curriculum and fosters a collaborative and joyful culture and community. Families will meet members of the school community, visit classrooms and hear about financial assistance programs.

SCHECHTER PALS (Preschoolers and Little Siblings)  is a free, family-friendly series of programs of the Solomon Schechter Day School. At every PALS event, preschoolers enjoy entertainment and projects that are designed to be engaging, educational and interactive. Hands-on activities that teach Jewish values are woven into every PALS.  Please join us for the fun! All PALS programs are held at 60 Stein Circle, Newton. Out of Many, One: Join the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization and others as they gather together on Sunday, December 11 at 6:00 PM. Mayor Martin Walsh and other elected officials will be there as well. This program will take place at the Islamic Society of Greater Boston at 100 Malcolm X Blvd. in Roxbury.

JCDS Information Sessions: JCDS, Boston's Jewish Community Day School, cultivates curious, passionate learners with the capacity and confidence to change the world. Highlights of our educational program include an innovative K-2 engineering program; a pioneering, nationally-recognized Hebrew language program; integration of Judaic and general studies across disciplines; and a whole child approach to academic excellence. Through intentionally pluralistic Jewish living and learning we nurture critical thinking, ethical hearts, and diverse, joyful community.  At our Sessions, you will meet with current JCDS parents and 8th grade students, tour JCDS classrooms, and engage in Q/A with our Educational Leadership Team. Out of Work or Under-Employed?  The Success Team provides support, networking, and resources to members of Temples Isaiah, Emunah, and Shir Tikvah. The goal is to help participants get what matters most to them, such as hope, clear goals, and priorities.
