Mark wants to give you a "heads up" regarding the Colorado Department of Revenue and Department of Labor. They are apparently calling some businesses as the first method of contact to arrange audits and ask questions. We find this practice to be highly suspect, given the proliferation of identity theft schemes and phone scams!
If you receive such a call, please let them know that your CPA has instructed you to NEVER give out information over the phone. And please do let us know - we will be happy to follow up for you!
