MONDAY 5th DECEMBER 2016 - 10am
Supreme Court, Parliament Square (Westminster tube)
Demonstration

NO Brexit restrictions on Freedom of Movement - NO to May's Secret Deals - SHUT DOWN the racist and fascist Brexit movement: Keep the fascists off our streets! STOP Scapegoating immigrants and Open the Border!

Join with Movement for Justice at to demonstrate at the Supreme Court Monday. This will be the first day of the legal challenge to May's extension of medieval royal powers to negotiate a Brexit deal without the public knowing anything about it and with no discussion or vote in Parliament. Farage, UKIP, the Daily Mail etc. back her because the Brexit vote gave them the initiative and they don't want any delay or discussion to rob them of that racist momentum.

Farage and his backers have now 'postponed' their planned march on the Court but MFJ will nevertheless be demonstrating there for freedom of movement, against May's abuse of democracy, and against the growth of a racist, fascist street army. It is in the interests of our fight for freedom of movement that the Supreme Court blocks May's attempt to rush through an anti-immigrant deal. And since Brexit has emboldened the fascist and racist thugs responsible for a massive upsurge in racist attacks, our movement must organise, and show that we are organising, to drive them off our streets.

We will not stand by and let Theresa May use Brexit as the basis to step up her policy of blaming immigrants for the poverty caused by Government policies. We will not stand by while she breaks up the public education system and uses Brexit to attack international students, increase deportations and take away our rights. And we will not stand by while the racist and fascist mobs whipped up Nigel Farage & Donald Trump step up their violent attacks and hate campaigns to destroy our freedom and our futures.

This is not 'business as usual.' We are witnessing the international growth of a fascist-style movement that is now closer to power in several 'western' countries than at any time for over 80 years. The politicians who use racist 'divide-and-rule' policies to increase hardship and insecurity for millions of people are responsible for the growth of that movement, because they prepared the ground for it. They are not capable of defeating it.

To defeat the racists and fascists and stop the immigrant-bashing politicians we urgently need to build an independent, integrated mass movement of and led by black, Asian, Muslim, Latin American, immigrant and anti-racist white youth who understand that the fight against racism is central to our future, and who will fight by any means necessary to win. If we build that movement we can defeat the racist, Brexit policies of despair and inspire new hope and a new spirit of struggle among growing numbers of poor and oppressed, working class and struggling middle class people of all races.
