Valley Vista Partners with New Hampshire Medicaid,
Providing Addiction Treatment Services to Adolescents
                 
Bradford, VT - Valley Vista, the 80-bed inpatient alcohol and chemical dependency treatment center has inked a deal with New Hampshire Medicaid to provide addiction recovery services to the insurance provider's managed care adolescent members. As a recognized provider, Valley Vista will be able to offer inpatient addiction treatment services to New Hampshire adolescents aged 13 to 18 years old. The partnership became effective September 12, 2016.
 
Valley Vista inpatient treatment center will offer New Hampshire Medicaid covered adolescents comprehensive, empathetic addiction rehabilitation services in a safe and secure therapeutic environment. The treatment facility uses a best practices abstinence-based approach that is rooted in 12-Step recovery programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous. The goal is to treat patients with the highest addiction acuity, often complicated by co-occurring mental conditions, to live a life that is happy, joyous and free from addiction. From medically monitored detoxification services to discharge and comprehensive aftercare planning, the highly qualified Valley Vista clinical team works with patients to improve their personal, physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, familial and social functioning helping to rebuild self-esteem and perceived self worth. The end result is a platform from which to build a sober life.
 
The adolescent inpatient program, one of the few in the Northeast, includes an educational program that facilitates reintegration into school as VT State Agency of Education recognized educators work with every child's school system to ensure they have the opportunity to stay connected and on track. The facility also provides services for students enrolled in individualized educational programs (IEP). Additionally, family therapy is a key part of the Valley Vista adolescent treatment protocol, an integral part of an individual's enduring recovery.
