Dear Saint Rose Families,

We are in the final stages of our Sponsor a Student drive. This is an important fundraising event for our school community.  These funds directly support the tuition of over 30 Saint Rose Catholic School families.  It allows anyone seeking a Catholic education in Perrysburg to obtain such an education for their son or daughter.  This is an incredible gift to our families.  Your donation also enriches our school by broadening our community and bring more students to the faith formational experience of our school. Sponsor a Student helps us all to thrive.  I hope that you already made a contribution to this year's drive.  Every contribution counts!  I am very thankful if you already made your donation.  Thank you on behalf of our students.  If you have not yet made your contribution, please do so as soon as possible.  Please follow the link below to support our school community.  Saint Rose School approaches our families twice a year for additional financial support; Sponsor a Student and Moonlight and Roses.  These two events do a great deal to support the finances of our school and continue our mission.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions that you have.

Sincerely,
Bryon Borgelt

150th School Anniversary and Buddy Bulb Planting
Saint Rose School continues to celebrate its 150th Anniversary.  Parishioner Janise Kaufman, and parents Abbie Schoen and Beth Westmeyer planned and helped our students plant bulbs throughout the parish property. Students were paired up with their buddy classes, giving our older grades a chance to work with their younger buddy classes.  The tulips and daffodils will beautify the campus this spring.

Preschool Grandparents Day
The Saint Rose Preschool celebrated grandparents day with classroom tours, snacks, a visit to the book sale and a chance to complete a service project.  Students and grandparents created soup jars for Perrysburg Christians United Food Pantry.  The jars were filled with peas and spices and notes of love were created and attached by the students.  Thank you to our admissions director Mrs. Schumaker, preschool director Mrs. Dulaney as well as our preschool teachers for making this day possible.
Photos for grandparents day can be found at this link.

Men's Night Out-November 20th
Men's Night Out is a great opportunity for the men of our school and parish to come together in fellowship and great food.  Last month I witnessed great community at Donuts for Dads.  Dads had a great time catching up with each other.  While donuts are great, imagine the same group of people spending time gathered around ribs, chicken, brats, beer and pop and football!  Please invite a few friends and come to this year's Men's Night Out in support of our CYO program.

The Book Fair is almost over!!!

CONTINUING ADULT FAITH FORMATION

"Too old too soon, too smart too late." That mantra comes to mind every time I
think about how I would have raised my daughters differently had I been more
knowledgeable about my Catholic faith. If I had life to live over again, the one
thing I would invest more time in would be learning and living a more authentic
practice of my Catholic faith as a mother and parent. It is the one investment that
offers eternal rewards." Mary Alice Newnam, St. Rose Parishioner
