Members, past and present, run for Congress, promenade for peaceful toys and against war, gather in Boston to discuss race and the environment, petition President Obama, call us to action on water issues and #NoDAPL, and are asked to give input on WILPF Bylaws.
 
Update
The Thursday, December 8, ONE WILPF Call will feature WILPF member and CODE PINK Activist Medea Benjamin, who just returned from the North Dakota Standing Rock pipeline protests.
 
She will comment on or discuss some or all of the following issues:
1. Standing Rock/indigenous women
2. The danger of potentially tearing up the Iran nuclear deal
3. The "hidden" war in Yemen that the US is so responsible for
4. The inauguration and 100 days plans.
 
The call begins at 4 pm pacific and 7 pm eastern.
