I would like to wish all our inn guests a very Happy Holiday Season and offer our best wishes for the New Year. 2016 was a wonderful year in North Hero and we very much enjoyed your company. 

OUR 20TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR!
It is hard to believe but this January I will have owned the North Hero House for 20 years! For 15 of the first 20 years I was an absentee owner but since retiring from corporate America in 2011 it has become a second career. Believe it or not, running an inn is more difficult than being a career money manager! It has been a rewarding but humbling experience. Thanks to our great customers and dedicated staff I was awarded the Vermont Innkeeper of the Year award in 2016.  I have to say it was a meaningful moment. Thank you all for your support. Getting to know our guests is the most rewarding aspect of inn ownership.

A VERMONT LOVE STORY 
I am originally from New Jersey but all my life I have wanted to live in Vermont full time. Now that I am a Vermont Innkeeper I get to do just that. My desire to make Vermont my home began as a child spending summer vacations with family on Lake Champlain starting in 1950. One of my favorite Vermont love stories involves a cousin and her childhood friend. Click here if you are intrigued to read more.

This is an event you won't want to miss. It is a fun evening with great music from the Rock & Roll era with an underlying murder mystery plot. You'll enjoy a 3 course dinner, singing along with tunes from Grease and solving the crime.

Tickets are $75 per person. Stay with us for two nights and save 25% on your second night.

New Year's Weekend

This year, New Year's Eve falls on a Saturday night and the New Year's holiday includes Monday, January 2. We would love to have you stay the entire weekend with us and have created a special package where you save 50% on the third night.
