Here's an excerpt from the 1st review of
my next novel,  An Honorable War
 by George D. Jepson, Editor
Quarterdeck Journal

"... Macomber's delicious storytelling - a combination of riddles, action on the sea and ashore, well drawn characters, and exotic locations - is a praiseworthy entry in the naval fiction genre. His rip roaring narrative is engaging, while chronicling a consequential period in American history."
#13 novel, An Honorable War

 TRAVELING IN PETER'S WAKE
THE HONOR SERIES
For a change, we're going to travel in Peter's Wake by traveling back through all of the novels of the Honor Series.  Here's how ~ if you aren't aware, as we await the release of An Honorable War , my publisher, Pineapple Press, is running a Facebook post every other week [started at the end of August] with a link to the first chapters each of my first 12 novels.  No scam. It's free!
Even if you're not on Facebook, you can retrace the escapades of our hero, Peter Wake by clicking on the link below to find the first chapter or an excerpt from each novel. Even if you have all of the hardbacks on your shelf, then this is a fun way to turn on new readers or share with friends:
WAKIAN HAT SIGHTING
Canadian Wakian, Al Schonborn, visiting on Cayo Costa Island
Canadian Wakian, Al Schonborn, known as
"Uncle Al" is at Cayo Costa State Park, having sailed to this beautiful SW FL barrier island,
not far from Wake's own Patricio Island.

Have a photo of a Wakian wearing our hat or using our koozie? Send it by email, and, as space permits, we'll post it in an upcoming newsletter.
 PEACE ON EARTH
2016 ends as busy as it started, but we still find moments to reflect and focus on the good.  I hope the Holy Days of your faith offer joy and peace. May 2017 be a year of fulfillment as you make your difference in the world, however it means the most to you. Always remember to take time to share companionship with  those you love!

Onward & Upward, my friends ...
