Foster E. Tryon  1922 - 2016 

Foster Eugene Tryon
, 94, of Lodi, passed away Dec. 9, 2016, at Hospice of Medina County in Medina. He was born Sept. 21, 1922, in Wadsworth to Olen and Leona (Hartman) Tryon.

Mr. Tryon graduated from Wadsworth High School, and served with the U.S. Army during WWII.   He had previously resided in Florida, before moving to Lodi where he lived the past 22 years.

Mr. Tryon was employed by Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton for 36 years, retiring in 1976.   He was an avid sportsman, and especially enjoyed hunting trips to Pennsylvania and Maine.   He was a proud WWII veteran, and was very generous to many charitable organizations.

He is survived by his son, David (Sandy) Tryon of Westfield Township;  five grandchildren, Dustan (Jen) Tryon of Westfield Township, Ladd (Alicia) Tryon of Litchfield, Shane (Stacey) Tryon of Boston, Mass., Heather Tryon (Joe) Stillitano of Boston, Mass. and Adam Grishaber of Westfield Township;  nine great-grandchildren;  and one sister, Norma Wanko of Seville.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth;  son, Gary;  and sisters, Betty Stark and Marie Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
