Simon Jacob, Past President of JKHA/RKYHS, joined the RKYHS Sephardic Minyan to commemorate the Yahrtzeit of his father, Albert Jacob, Ovadiah ben Yaacov Aharon z"l. Simon and his family helped to envision and create the Sephardic Minyan and strengthen the study of Sephardic heritage and traditions at JKHA/RKYHS. The Sefer Torah used by the Sephardic Minyan on a regular basis was dedicated in memory of Simon's mother and his wife Barrie's mother.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Annie Kellerman Tannenbaum, z"l, beloved mother of Avivah Gottlieb, and beloved grandmother of Alexander (JKHA '08/RKYHS '12), Daniel (JKHA '10/RKYHS '14), and Naomi (11th Grade) Gottlieb.

 
ALUMNI

Jake Ostrove (RKYHS '16), a journalism and media studies student at Rutgers with a specialization in sports journalism, spoke to the students in the sports management club.  Ostrove's goal is to become a sports broadcaster, and he shared with students about attaining his goals through his involvement in WRSU, Rutgers student radio, and his experience broadcasting games for Rutgers football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball and baseball.
