Strategic Plan Update: NASCA Unveils New Mission Statement
As part of  NASCA's strategic planning efforts , a work group recently evaluated the wording of  our organization's mission statement. Following several discussions, reflection exercises and a branding analysis,  the NASCA Executive Committee unanimously approved a new statement that more accurately reflects what we do and why we do it.  We're proud to announce the result:

NASCA's mission is to help state chief administrators and their teams strategically transform state government operations through the power of shared knowledge and thought leadership.

Additional work groups are continuing progress on other components of the strategic plan, including NASCA's forthcoming online networking community and resource library. Please contact Sarah Razor if you would like to join these short-term work groups. On average, NASCA work groups meet for about an hour a month and are designed to be active for 3-6 months.
