A Brand Spankin New Musical by Dolly Parton! "9 to 5" is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought provoking, and even a little romantic. Pushed to the boiling point, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy - giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can't she?
Rated PG-13
Content Guide:
9 to 5 contains mild profanity and the three female leads bond over a marijuana cigarette.

The Mission of the Imperial Community Theatre, Inc. is to preserve the historic Imperial Theatre in downtown Augusta, and provide a classic venue for performing art groups, artists, and audiences from Augusta, and surrounding areas .
The Imperial Theatre will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2018. During the past 2 years over $400,000.00 in infrastructure work has been completed with an additional $750,000.00 in electro-mechanical work planned for 2017. With that work complete there is another $6 million worth interior work needed to return the Imperial Theatre to its original glory. That work involves plaster restoration, paint. Improved seating in the upper levels, expansion of restrooms and making them ADA compliant, dressing room renovations, installing an elevator to access lower and upper floors and re-purposing the former Western Union Room in the front of the theatre. Please consider becoming a sustaining donor by arranging for a Recurring/Monthly donation via the Imperial's "PayPal" donation site. Whatever you may be able to donate will be directed for the capital improvement projects intended to preserve the historic Imperial Theatre. Just follow the link below. Thank you in advance.
