PWP WANTS YOU TO BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS

Scammers are getting increasingly more bold and creative. Recent common scams include: phone calls demanding payment to prevent water or electric service shut off, and unscheduled home visits from scammers posing as PWP contractors offering home energy audit services. We want you to know that PWP never accepts payment over the phone and PWP would never visit your home without a scheduled appointment and proper identification. If you are unsure, end the call or do not let them enter your home. Call PWP Customer Service to confirm at 626.744.4005.

YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT TO US

We hope by now you've had the chance to visit PWP's website (PWPweb.com) and noticed a new look and feel with an enhanced navigation. The redesigned website is one of the many ways PWP is committed to improving the customer experience. But we also want your input on how we can improve as your utility provider. Please take a few moments to fill out a quick 10-question survey. You will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to receive an emergency preparedness backpack (valued at $50) just for sharing your thoughts with us.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS DON'T HAVE TO BE A DRAIN

With the holiday season upon us, PWP wants to make sure you stay safe. Below are some quick and easy electrical safety tips to follow:
  • Never connect more than three stings of incandescent lights.
  • Always unplug electric decorations before replacing bulbs or fuses.
  • Turn off all indoor and outdoor electrical decorations before leaving your home or going to sleep.
Did you know that LED lights consume 80-90% less energy than incandescent lights and last longer? PWP offers its electric residential customers discounts on LED holiday light strings, which you can easily purchase from the comfort of your home through our online PWP Webshop. PWP - A PLAYER IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUTURE

PWP participated in a Transportation Symposium on October 25 - where national policy makers and industry leaders gathered to identify solutions and actions to achieve a 2030 goal for a clean transportation economy. Atttendees could look and sit in a range of electric big rigs, and PWP showcased three electric vehicles (EVs) from its green fleet.

Pasadena visitors can benefit from accessing more than a dozen free city-owned charging stations throughout the city, one of which is a fast charger. In addition, PWP offers a variety of incentives, including home charging units and more for residents to go electric.
