Parents who are expecting a new baby or who have new babies are invited to attend a baptism orientation. Join us to reflect together about the meaning of baptism from a Lutheran perspective. We'll answer your questions and help you and your family get ready for baptism. Baptismal Orientation is also a great opportunity to get to know others in the congregation and learn more about ministries of Faith. The next quarterly session will be held here on Sunday, August 20, at 9:30 -10:15 a.m. in the Faith Lights Room. Please sign up for the class by contacting the church office at 225-8334.

Please join us in congratulating Miranda Kurtt, our church administrator, on her new position as secretary of Parks and Recreation for the city of West Des Moines. Her last day in the church office will be Tuesday, August 8. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 13, as we express our gratitude to Miranda for faithfully serving Faith for nine years and to wish her well in her new job. A reception will be held between services that Sunday.

Adult Sunday School

the History of Lutheranism.
We meet in Messiah Hall rooms 203 and 204 from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Please note that there will not be Adult Sunday School on July 30th.

Half way through 2017 and the year of beer continues. Guys' Night Out will be checking out one of the newest breweries in town this month, Barn Town Brewing at 9500 University Avenue #1100 in West Des Moines.

Faith Book Club
Faith Book Club's August selection is The

by Kathleen Grissom. We will meet on Tuesday, August 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Andrea Stone. Faith Book Club meets in the evenings on the third Tuesday of every month.
