During Sing & Celebrate, our classes join Rev. Mary Kay, Deacon Will and Miss Adell to pray, hear a Bible lesson and sing some fun songs. This year, families are invited to join us for Sing & Celebrate for our three special Family celebrations during the months of September, December and May. For the remaining school months, the classes will join Rev. Mary Kay, Deacon Will and Miss Adell in smaller groups for their lessons. |
October music classes were full of Halloween fun! We sang the Pumpkin Patch Song, learned the Five LIttle Pumpkins poem and got silly with the Halloween is Here song. We exercised with some spooky yoga poses, a Pass the Pumpkin game, and the Monster Mash March. It was wonderful to enjoy the warm weather by holding music class outside!

Our Halloween parades and parties were so much fun! The children loved showing off their costumes. Thank you to all the parents who helped out with costumes and parties. We love having our families join us for these special events!
The weather is getting chilly so please be sure your child's backpack has a set of weather-appropriate clothes in it. Also, please be sure to always send a coat to school even if the weather report says otherwise!
You can find the school calendar and all upcoming events on our website. We try very hard to keep our homepage
www.sdlife/school
current with events for the month. The annual calendar is also on the website at

Greetings!
We read a quote recently that said, "Life is a series of tiny miracles. Notice them." These are words to live by, especially during the preschool years! If you think back to the first day you dropped off your child at St. David's, you will be able to count all the miracles that have happened. Your child has gotten stronger and wiser in just a few months. They have learned to separate from you, make new friends, trust new adults, and learn more about their world! What an exciting time for them and for you! Be sure to count the miracles and your blessings!
To help you remember all the miracles and milestones, our teachers will be meeting with you for Fall Conferences. This is a time for them to share information about how your child is doing in school. More importantly, it's a time for you to share information and ask questions! Please make sure you sign up to attend the conference offered during the school day. It will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship with your child's teacher!
Blessings,
Ann-Marie and Julie
