Classroom Economy Blog
"It's the first day of the month - rent is due!" At the beginning of each month, my 4th grade students pull out their checkbooks and pay their "$1,000 rent." Leading up to this, 4th graders also receive their monthly paychecks and extra-curricular activity bonuses. All of these events are a daily part of the classroom economy system in my 4th grade classroom.

Day School Community Highlights
2017-2018 School Calendar
Our 2017-18 calendar is on the website for you to view.
Please note, we will be starting school on Wednesday, August 9, which is earlier than usual. This allows us to be dismissed for summer before Memorial Day weekend. A final note to the class of 2018: Commencement will be on Friday, May 18.
As the holiday season is quickly approaching, Friends would like to take some time and honor our teachers, staff, and administrators for the outstanding job they do throughout the year to help nurture the bodies and minds of our children. On Wednesday, December 7th at 11:00 am, we will be hosting our annual holiday luncheon for our teachers and faculty. We need help from our parents to volunteer during the event as well as provide side dishes and desserts to compliment a Baked Potato Bar that Friends will provide for the luncheon.
