Keeping you up to date on the many ways Beverly Bootstraps provides critical resources to families and individuals so they may achieve self-sufficiency.
Summer Food Program

This summer we changed the Summer Food Program by offering families with children the opportunity to visit the Food Pantry every week, instead of every other. When combined with the breakfasts being offered at participating BevRec park programs and lunch served at Beverly High School, participants have been very relieved to have assistance keeping their children fed while school is out.

One such family is Annie's*. She recently blended her family of three with her boyfriend's family of three. She has always worked full time and balances things very well-- but it is still difficult to make ends meet, especially now that there are four children at home to feed. She finds the pre-made meals particularly helpful to give their kids when she and her boyfriend get home from a long day at work.
