Howard County's Innovation District in Columbia Gateway will soon be home to three federal contractors that used to be located in Anne Arundel County's Chesapeake Innovation Center.  D&A Technical Services, Aerode Management Solutions and Epitome Technologies are making the move to the Columbia Gateway where the Howard County Economic Development Authority and the County Executive's Office are actively recruiting startups, tech and cyber companies.

The Chamber kicked off the week with a well-attended GovConnects BizBreakfast focused on U.S. Cyber Command. Speakers CAPT Edward Devinney, USN, Director, Technical Outreach for the Capabilities Development Group at U.S. Cyber Command and COL Matthew Dunlop, USA, Director, Applied Research and Development Division Capabilities Group from U.S. Cyber Command offered an overview of what U.S. Cyber Command does and how it's organized. They also described the goals of U.S. Cyber Command.  It was also especially helpful to hear both Directors talk about U.S. Cyber Command's needs and what they are looking for industry partners to provide.
