Ama Beth's Retirement Celebration
December 10th, 5:30 PM

We are getting close to the festivities for Ama Beth's Retirement Celebration! If you have not already done so, please RSVP to Carole in the office by  TODAY . It is very important that we have a fairly accurate
headcount for this party.

Also, many of you have responded that you  are coming, but  we still need to know who is bringing potluck dishes to share. Please contact Janet Keane by  TODAY  at [email protected] or use the signup sheet in the narthex.
**Acolytes Needed**

We have many special services fast approaching and would very much like to have Acolytes at each Sunday service.  Remember, anyone from age 8-108 can serve as an Acolyte! Please contact Carole at the office to signup for a date to participate at (781) 826-2062 or [email protected]
         **CHRISTMAS PAGEANT**

The Pageant is coming and you can all play a part,
Just come to Church School on Sunday to start.
Some wise men, shepherds and sheep we need;
And a couple of more people to read.
Children, adults, come young and come old,
The hear the tale of Jesus' birth foretold!
So, be a part of the fun, it will soon be here,
to fill our hearts with warmth and cheer!

Join us on Sunday, December 18th at 10:00 AM for this year's pageant!

We still need  more readers. Please come to Church School on Sunday to participate!

Bishop Alan Gates will be joining us that Sunday morning as part of Ama's Beth's Farewell. Click here for some tips on getting kids ready for a visit with the Bishop.    The Bishop is Coming
STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN 2017

Dear Saint Andrew's Parishioners and Friends,

This Sunday, December 11th, we will be blessing our pledges. If you have not already sent it in, bring your pledge card to worship Sunday and we will celebrate Commitment Sunday, the culmination of the journey, when pledges will be completed and offered as an act of worship.  To date, we have received 50 pledges totaling $73,528.00 towards our goal of $120,000.00. All pledges should be received by the office by December 29th.

It has been our pleasure to lead you all on this journey. We are grateful for your generosity and look forward to a year of growth and continued fellowship here at St. Andrew's.

Angel Tree Gifts

Once again this year, we will be donating gifts to the Visiting Nurse, with an effort to remember teenagers. They are still young, but are sometimes holding families together. They may have very little at Christmas. The gifts need to be in by Sunday, December 18th. If you have any questions, please contact Jody Wood at (781) 826-4006 or [email protected]

ONGOING WAYS YOU CAN BE A PART OF ST. ANDREWS:

Being a part of a Church Family means there is always room to be involved and lend a hand. Here are some ways you can lend your time or talent to St. Andrew's this fall:

ADULT CHOIR: The Adult Choir is still looking for new members to join this year. No experience necessary! We have some special anthems we would like to sing this fall, but need a few more voices to fill out the sections. Our next rehearsal will be on Tuesday, November 29th at 7:00 PM. Come and sing a spell!

ACOLYTES: Anyone in grade 2 and up (YES! this includes ADULTS!)  can  serve as an Acolyte. If you or your child would like to serve as an Acolyte, please call or email Carole in the office to see what dates are available. Remember, children who serve as Acolytes also attend Church School, so they won't miss out on the Arts & Faith fun!

COFFEE HOUR FELLOWSHIP:  A cookie, a cup of coffee, and a smile can go a long way!  The coffee will already be on, so the hard part is done! Grab a friend or two and help keep this special time of fellowship going.  If you are interested in hosting an upcoming Coffee Hour, please call or email Carole in the office for available dates.

LAY READERS / CHALICE BEARERSThe role of the
Lay Ministry in our parish  life is to represent the lay fellowship of Christ during ou worship services... either reading Bible passages, leading prayers, distributing the wine, and occasionally acting as acolyte, when necessary. We'd love to have more people to read...you wouldn't need to act as Chalice Bearer or sit at the altar. We'd especially like more readers for the 8 o'clock service. Contact Karen Troupe if you're interested or have any questions at:  [email protected] .
