The Veterans Business Outreach Center serving Minnesota (VBOC@WBDC), supported by Newman's Own Foundation, invites you to join the Veterans Business Roadshow - Campus Tour. Veterans of all eras, Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and Military Family Members are invited to attend free of charge. The event includes a continental breakfast, three workshops and a boxed lunch.

Are you a veteran in business or thinking of starting a business?

You, your employees, and your spouse are invited to attend this one-day FREE Small Business Services Event that will feature speakers and breakout sessions of the topics of:

  •  Social Media & Traditional Selling
  • Legal & Financial Issues in Starting & Running a Business
  • Money Sources & Funding
This veteran event will also include opportunities to network with other veterans starting or already in business.

Personal SCORE mentors will be onsite. Veterans will learn about eligibility to participate in other SCORE workshops and webinars


The 13th Annual Greater Minnesota Government Procurement Fair
  
A premiere event on selling products and services to the government

The fair will provide an opportunity for small businesses and contractors to learn about special programs designed to provide better access to the government marketplace. A trade show will be open throughout the day in addition to a variety of workshops including Selling to the Government, CyberSecurity, State & Federal Certifications, etc. You will have 10 workshops in 2 tracks to choose from, along with the opportunity to visit with 25+ representatives from State & Federal Government Agencies, Large Businesses, and Resource Providers on the trade floor.
 
The event is FREE and open to all businesses!

SciTechsperience is a free, state-funded internship program that provides a 50 percent cash match on college intern's wages, up to $2,500. Companies wishing to apply must have less than 250 employees worldwide.
