Dear Boulevard Families:
While I am enthusiastically looking forward to this evening’s PTO Back-to-School Bash, Mother Nature may have other plans. We will closely monitor today’s weather and send out an email blast prior to 4:30 p.m. should the Bash be canceled due to inclement conditions. Today, students will also wear a sticker home indicating whether the Bash will take place or not. Please keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned!
This week, we began fall benchmarking, the administration of language and math assessments that give teachers initial data on where each of the students is as we begin the new school year. Teachers use this data to plan and guide instruction and will share the data with parents at fall conferences.
Please mark your calendars for the following events at Boulevard:
  • September 13 – PTO Meeting, 7:00 p.m.
  • September 20 – Fathers’ Walk Your Child to School Day, 9:00 a.m.
  • September 26 – Library Night at SH Main Library, 6:30 p.m.
  • September 27 – Kindergarten Curriculum Night, 6:00 p.m.

Hope to see you this evening!
Neal Robinson
