Crusader Sports..... 

 
FOOTBALL:
 
Football season ended on Thanksgiving, the 2016 record ended at 6 wins and 4 losses. The boys did a great job this year and we would like to "THANK" the seniors for their hard work. We were 4 -0 on the new Gaglio Field so next year we are playing all our games at home!!(Just Kidding)
The team would like to "THANK" all the fans for their support throughout the years.  It is important to us that you keep rooting us on.
 
 The FCIAC has announced its all-start teams and the Trinity players on it are:
 
 1st Team All-FCIAC: JonMichael Bivona and Ryan Sweeney
 
2nd Team All-FCIAC: Dominick Svrcek, Gerardo Gonzalez, Chris Ciacciarella and Nick Melia
All-FCIAC West Team: Sean Eilertsen, Nick Granata and Frank Alfano
All-FCIAC West Honorable Mention: Mikey Riddle, Arthur Yaniv and Brian Bellamy
 
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
 
WINTER SPORTS:
 
Boys and Girls Basketball and Boys Hockey practices will be in full swing by this Saturday December 3rd. Please check the web-site for opening game and season schedule. We look forward to seeing you at Walsh Court and Terry Connors Rink.
 
Our Cheerleading squad will be  cheering on the basketball team and will have exhibitions later in the season.
 
SPRING SPORTS:
 
Congratulations to seniors Tyler Austin, Nick Gatto, and Dom Svrcek for being elected baseball captains.
 
 
 
Thanksgiving Food Drive a Success...
 
This year Trinity Catholic continued their mission of serving others with donating a grand total of over 5,900 lbs of food to the Fairfield County Food bank.  The Thanksgiving Drive is a long standing Catholic High tradition that is sponsored by the Student Council and we would like to thank everyone for all their d onations and help in making our drive such a continued success. 
 






The totals for each grade were as follows:

Progress Reports 2nd Marking Period..... 

Progress reports for the 2nd Marking Period will be emailed to parents on Monday, December 5th. Please contact your child's teacher first if you have any questions about your child's work.

SENIORS
 
**Seniors who have an application deadline of January 1 must let you counselor know by Monday, Dec. 12**
 
Please check in with your counselor about colleges. The transcript request form with college deadlines is due to counselors no later than 10 days before your first deadline. Once you have submitted an application you must check to see that the college has received all the parts of your application including test scores, transcripts and recommendations.
 
Dollars for Scholars Scholarships Applications: Stamford Dollars for Scholars awards over 25 local and national scholarships to Seniors and the application is available now at http://public.dollarsforscholars.org. Applications must be submitted from Feb. 1 through April 1, 2017. For more information, please see www.sd4s.org or the Guidance Department.
 

International Dinner a Fun & Delicious Night ............
 
 
 
The Multicultural Cub's International Dinner on December 1st was an outstanding success. The cafeteria was full of parents and students who enjoyed entertainment and tasty home-made foods from all over the world. Kudos to Ms. Gomez, Ms. DiPalma, Mr. Henkel from our World Language Department, our students as well as the many parents who helped make this night so enjoyable.


 
Feast of the Immaculate Conception ...........

In honor the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, school will be closed on Thursday December 8th.
